The snow is great and we want to keep it that way.

The trouble is that things are warming up. Human activities have increased greenhouse gases leading to global warming and climate change. Like those who rely on the Great Barrier Reef, and those who live in low-lying coastal areas, we who enjoy snow sports are at the frontline.

With snow making, the Australian alpine industry will be able to manage the impact of climate change until at least 2020. But we need to take action now to deal with the long-term.

The good news is that each of us can make a difference.
