Keep Winter Cool - Carbon Calculator

There are just six easy steps to calculate your carbon footprint. We have tried to cover the main greenhouse gas generating activities involved in a trip to an alpine resort such as travel, lighting, heating, rubbish disposal and lift operation. We have also included energy efficient options to assist you in reducing your overall carbon footprint. Try and chose as many energy efficient options as you can - but remember you have to stick to them!

Step 1 Calculate your Greenhouse Gas emissions from travelling to and from the Resort.
Every time you drive somewhere you consume energy. As cars burn fuel, Greenhouse Gasses are produced and these are what cause global warming. You can reduce the impact of your travel by using a smaller car with better fuel economy or sharing a lift or catching a bus.
